What are widgets in Vani?

Widgets are simple tools you can add directly into your Space to support how work happens. They don’t change your workflow or replace your content. Instead, they sit alongside it and help you manage time, gather input, or make interactions more fluid within the same canvas.

Polls for quick team input


Polls are probably the most straightforward way to use widgets.
If you’re choosing between options, collecting feedback, or just trying to get a quick sense of what people think, a poll keeps it simple without turning everything into a long thread. 
You’ll typically see this used when:
  1. Choosing between design options or campaign directions
  2. Finalizing content or decisions
  3. Gathering quick feedback during reviews or discussions
  4. Getting alignment before moving to the next step

It’s especially helpful in async scenarios. Instead of waiting for replies across comments or messages, you can collect responses in one place and move ahead with confidence.

Timers and stopwatches during sessions

Timers and stopwatches usually show up when people are actively working in the Space.
The timer is useful when you’re running something with a defined duration. For example:
