A connector helps you visually map relationships between objects in your Space. You can connect elements such as shapes, text boxes, images, GIFs, and Sticky Notes. Once connected, objects remain attached even if you move or resize them, making it easier to maintain neat layouts, workflows, or diagrams.

Connector points
When you select an object, small circles called connector points appear along its edges. Drag a connector point and attach it to any spot on another object to create a connection.
Connect two existing objects
Select the first object.
Drag a connector point toward the second object.
Drop it at the exact spot on the second object where you want them to connect.
Connect an existing object to a new object
- Select an object and click or drag from one of its connector points.
- Drop the object where you want the new object to appear.
- The options menu will open. You can choose from shapes, text styles, images, or just duplicate the previous object
- The new object will automatically be connected to the original one.
Connector styles
You can customize a connector’s appearance to match your diagram or workflow.
To change a connector’s style:
Select the connector.
In the right toolbar, click Format.
Expand the Format Options panel to see all style settings.
Adding text on connectors
Double-click a connector to add text to it. You can also add text to a connector from the format options.
This will be especially useful when drawing flowcharts and diagrams.
The Format panel includes:
- Color – Pick a color or enter a hex code.
- Width – Adjust line thickness.
- Outline – Choose solid, dashed, or dotted lines.
- Type – Select straight, elbow, curved, or rounded connectors.
- End point – Set arrow styles for the start and end.
- Add text – Place text directly on the connector.
- Direction – Position text on either side of the connector.

Deleting a connector
Select the connector and press Delete on your keyboard.
