External Share
The external share feature in Vani helps teammates share their Spaces with individuals outside their team. This enables collaboration with external stakeholders without the necessity of adding them to the team, thus maintaining control over the access of the Space and ensuring privacy and security.
Access Controls:
Depending on the preferences of the sharing teammate, the external share link can grant different levels of access:
View only: External users can only view the Space.
Comment only: External users can view the Space and leave comments.
Edit: External users can view, comment, and edit in the Space.
Privacy and Security:
Teammates can enhance privacy and security of the externally shared link by:
Setting a password to restrict access.
Setting an expiration date to limit access over time.
Generating an External Share Link:
To generate an external share link, follow these steps:
1. Click 'All Spacemates' at the bottom right or 'Share' at the Menu to open the Collaborator pane.
2. Under 'Who can access,' click 'Change' to modify the Space access from 'Only Spacemates.'
3. Select 'Anyone with the link.'
4. The external share link will appear upon clicking 'Apply.' Copy this link and share it with your clients or stakeholders.
