Teams and Teammates in Vani

Once you've signed up for Vani, you can either:

 

1. Create a new team and invite your teammates over
   
   
2. Join existing teams if you've already received invites from other users
   
   

  Note:  Users can be a part of multiple teams, but can only create a single team.  

Teammates can either be Admins or Members. Admins can assign Admin or Member privileges to other teammates.

The one who creates the team will be the Super Admin. The Super Admin can upgrade or downgrade plans and can activate or deactivate teammates. Check the Pricing article to learn more about plans.

You can view the list of all teammates by clicking Team settings/View Team under your team name on the listing page.

 

Creating a new team from the listing page

 

When you join an existing team using an invite, you will still have the option to create a team of your own. To do so:  

 

1. Click the Create new team option

2. Enter the name and description of your team.

 

Inviting teammates to your team

 

Once you've created a new team, you'll be prompted to invite more people to your team. You can invite teammates by entering their email addresses.

Admins can also invite teammates by clicking Team Settings on the listing page, followed by the Invite button.

 

Joining existing teams

 

If you've received invitations to join existing teams, you can choose which ones to accept from the pop-up that appears as soon as you sign up.

 

You can also view the list of all pending invites from the drop-down menu beside your team name on the listing page and accept invitations right from there.

 

Switching between teams

 

If you're a part of multiple teams, you can switch between teams from the drop-down menu beside the team name on the listing page.
