Sticky notes
Sticky notes in Vani offer a simple and visual way to capture quick thoughts and ideas. They are perfect for brainstorming, planning, or even working solo. They are useful for brainstorming, planning, or working solo. Sticky notes help you capture ideas quickly without cluttering the Space.
How to add a sticky note
To insert a sticky note:
- Go to the left toolbar and select Elementsb.
- Scroll to the Sticky Notes section.
- Pick a style and place it wherever you want in the Space .
- Double-click inside the sticky note to add text.
Resizing sticky notes
Sticky notes can also be resized to fit your content or layout preferences. You can freely adjust their size to accommodate more text or to create a visual hierarchy within your Space.
To resize a sticky note:
- Select the sticky note you want to modify.
- Click and drag any edge or corner handle to increase or decrease its size.
How to format sticky notes
Once a sticky note has been added from the Elements section, you can adjust its appearance to better fit your visual layout or highlight specific points within your Space. Formatting helps maintain consistency and make your notes visually distinct.
To edit a sticky note:
Select the sticky note you want to modify.
Click the Format tab in the right side toolbar.
Go to the Shape section within the Format tab.
Apply your preferred changes using the available tools.
Available formatting options:
Fill - The fill is enabled by default. You can choose from Solid, Gradient, or Pattern fills.
Color - Set a custom color for the sticky note using the color picker or a hex code.
These options give you control over the appearance of your sticky notes, helping you keep your Space organized and visually engaging.
Tip: You can resize, move, or change the color of sticky notes at any time from the format tools to organize your Space and highlight important points. Sticky notes are a versatile tool for capturing and organizing ideas, whether you’re working alone or with a team.
