Accessing Vani Spaces in your Projects

Once Vani is set up, you can access and work with Vani Spaces directly from your projects in Zoho Projects.

The Vani tab in a project

Open a project in Zoho Projects and select the Vani tab. This tab lists all Spaces associated with the project. If no Spaces are associated yet, you’ll see an empty state with options to create or associate a Space.

Associate an existing Space

To associate an existing Space with a project:

1. Click Associate Space.
2. Select one or more Spaces from the list.
3. Click Associate Space to confirm.

The selected Spaces will appear in the project’s Vani tab.

Create and associate a new Space

To create a new Space from within a project:

1. Click Create Space.
2. Choose a template or start with a blank Space.
3. Click Create & Associate Space.

The new Space will be created and associated with the project automatically.

Open and work in an associated Space

Select any associated Space to open it directly inside Zoho Projects. You can view, edit, and collaborate in the Space without leaving the project. Changes made in the Space are updated in real time.

Pin and unpin a Space in the Vani tab

You can pin a Space so it opens by default when you access the Vani tab.

1. Click Pin this Space at the top-right corner of an opened Space to pin it.
2. Click Unpin this Space in the same location to unpin the Space.

Pinned Spaces help keep important diagrams or boards easily accessible.

Set a default view for a Space

Within an open Space, you can set a default view to control what users see first.

1. Click the More options icon in the Space header.
2. Select Set as default view.

This sets the current area of the canvas as the default view whenever the Space is opened.
