How to set up Vani with Zoho Projects

Before you can start using Vani inside Zoho Projects, you need to set up the integration in Projects. This is a one-time process and does not need to be repeated for individual projects.

Install Vani from Zoho Projects

  1. Go to Settings in Zoho Projects.
  2. Navigate to Marketplace.
  3. Search for and select Vani.
  4. Follow the on-screen steps to install the integration and complete the required confirmations.
Once installed, you’ll be guided through connecting Vani with your Zoho Projects account.

Set up Vani for first-time users

If you are new to Vani, you’ll be asked to create a Vani team during setup.
  1. Enter a team name.
  2. Click Create and connect the team.
This creates a new Vani team and connects it with your Zoho Projects portal. All users in the Projects portal will be invited to join the connected Vani team.

Connect an existing Vani team

If you already use Vani, you can connect one of your existing teams.
  1. Select a team from the list of available Vani teams.
  2. Click Connect.
The selected team will be connected to your Zoho Projects portal.

After the setup is complete

Once the setup is complete, you can:
  1. Access Vani from the Vani tab inside your projects
  2. Associate Vani Spaces with projects, tasks, issues, and phases
  3. Start collaborating in Spaces directly from Zoho Projects
The setup only needs to be performed once. You can start using Vani across all projects immediately after.
