The pin tool lets you mark specific locations or objects in a Space so you and your teammates have the right context while navigating. Pins are useful for pointing teammates to important locations or objects inside a Space.
Add pins
- From the quick access toolbar – Select an object, click the Add pin icon, enter a name in the dialog box, and click OK.
- From the pin pane – Click New pin to place a pin anywhere in the Zone. You can also drag a pin onto an object to attach it.

You can use pins for:
- Pointing teammates to project timelines, agendas, or review sections.
- Highlighting key details such as critical sections of a diagram, important decision points, or priority tasks.
- Helping new collaborators get oriented quickly by pointing them directly to the most important parts of the Space.
Edit pins
- From the Pin pane – Hover over a pin, click the ellipsis (…) menu, and choose to rename, delete, or copy its link.
- From the canvas – For visible pins placed directly on the Space, hover over the pin and click the edit icon to rename, move, or delete it.
- From an object – For pins attached to objects, select the object and use the quick access toolbar to remove the pin.
Hyperlinks
You can attach hyperlinks to any object in the Space, pointing to either:
- A URL from an external website
- A pin from the same Space
To add a hyperlink, select the object and click the hyperlink icon in the quick access toolbar. Choose a pin from the list or enter a URL, then click Done.
You can use hyperlinks to:
- Guide viewers to navigate the Space in the right order by linking to existing pins, ensuring a smooth and regulated flow during workshops, presentations, or demos.
- Connect objects to external resources like documents, websites, or research material, to access supporting content.
- Create shortcuts across the Space by linking directly to pins, so viewers can jump between different areas without losing context.
