Switching between teams
If you're part of multiple teams in Vani, you can easily switch between them anytime from your listing page.
How to switch teams in the Team plan
To switch between teams, click the dropdown next to your current team name in the top-left corner of the listing page. Once selected, the listing page refreshes to show the Spaces and teammates in that team.
Switching teams within an organization (Business plan)
If you are working within an organization, you can switch between teams from the left panel.
To switch teams:
- Go to the left panel
- Under your current organization, locate the Teams section and click the dropdown next to your current team.
- Select the team you want to switch to.
The selected team will open, and you can continue working in that team.
Identifying pending team invites
If someone has invited you to join another team, you’ll see a small number badge next to your team name in the top-left corner, indicating pending invites.
When you open the teams list, click Pending team invite to view all invites. For each invite, click Accept to join or Decline to ignore the invite. After accepting, the new team will be added to your team list in the dropdown
What changes when you switch teams?
Each team is a separate workspace with its own:
- Spaces
- Teammates
- Permissions
- Billing plan (for Team plan)
When you switch to another team:
- Your view updates to show only the content relevant to that team
- Your role (Admin, Member, or Super Admin) may vary depending on what was assigned in that specific team
