How to use a Kanban board in Vani?

Kanban boards help you track tasks and manage workflows visually. In Vani, Kanban boards are interactive, you can drag and drop cards across lanes to track progress, prioritize work, or organize ideas.

How to insert a Kanban board

  1. Click Structure from the left toolbar.
  2. Choose a layout from the available styles in the Kanban section.
The board will be added to your canvas with editable cards.


How to use the Kanban board

  1. Edit column or row titles by clicking on them.
  2. Click + next to a lane to add more lanes.
  3. Use the + inside a lane to add cards.
  4. Click a card to edit its content.
  5. Drag cards to reorder or move across lanes. They automatically adapt to the destination lane's style.
  6. Adjust spacing from the Format bar.
Vani supports both vertical (columns) and horizontal (rows) layouts. The board auto-adjusts as you add or rearrange cards.
