Create a mind map with Vani AI

Mind maps are visual diagrams that help you organize information, brainstorm ideas, or break down complex topics into simpler parts. They’re great for project planning, outlining, or creative thinking.

With Vani AI, you can generate structured and visually appealing mind maps instantly using just a simple text prompt, no manual setup needed. It saves time and helps you start from a well-organized visual layout.

How to create a Mind Map  

  1. Click the Vani AI icon from the left toolbar.

  2. Select Mind Map under the Create section.

  3. Type a short prompt describing the mind map you want to create.
    Example: “Create a mind map about the stages of product development.”

  4. Click the Ask Vani AI button to start creation.

  5. Preview it using the eye icon.

  6. If you’d like to make changes, type your updated instructions in the text box and click the button with Ask Vani AI to regenerate it.

  7. Click Add to Zone to add the mind map to your Space once you are satisfied with the results.


NotesNote: Creating or regenerating a mind map will use your available AI credits.

How to edit the Mind Map  

After the mind map is added to your Zone, you can:

  • Double-click on any node to edit its text.

  • Drag and drop nodes to rearrange their position.

  • Add, delete, or rename nodes to refine the structure.

  • Customize the layout and content to match your needs.





These edits let you fine-tune the AI-generated structure without starting over.

Prompt tips  

To get better mind maps, try:

  • Using specific prompts: “Create a mind map showing the phases of UX design”

  • Mentioning levels or categories: “Make a three-level mind map of marketing strategy”

  • Avoiding vague phrases like “make a good mind map” describe the topic clearly instead.

NotesNote: Each creation or regeneration consumes AI credits, so review before regenerating.
