Creating or joining a team

Once you've signed up for Vani, you’ll be prompted to either create your own team or join an existing one.

• If no one has invited you to a team yet, you’ll only see Create team
• If you have team invites, you’ll see both the Create team and Team Invite tabs

Creating your own team during signup:  

If you're starting fresh:

1. Enter your team name in the dialog box that appears after you sign in.
2. Click Create team to continue. 

You’ll be taken to your listing page, where you can start creating Spaces and inviting teammates.

You can create only one team per account. However, you can still be part of multiple teams created by others.

   

Joining an existing team during signup:  

If you’ve been invited to a team:

1. Open the Team Invite tab on the welcome screen.
2. Click Accept to join the team.
3. Click Get Started to enter the team and begin collaborating.
   

 
Joining a team later :

1. Open the dropdown near your team name on the top left of the listing page to view and manage pending invites.
2. Accept or decline invitations at your convenience.
   

You can always join or switch between teams from the same dropdown.

   

Creating a team later     

If you chose to join another team during signup, you can still create your own team later.

To do this:

1. Click the dropdown near your team name in the top-left corner of the listing page.
2. Select Create new team.
3. Enter your team name and description, then click Create team.
   

Inviting teammates to your team     

Once your team is set up, you can invite more teammates from Team Settings.
