What is Vani AI?

Vani AI is built into your Space to help you create and organize ideas faster. It can generate visuals like mind maps and flowcharts, write content, or summarize discussions based on simple prompts. Over time, Vani AI will support more intelligent ways to create and collaborate visually.

Who can enable Vani AI?

Only team admins can enable or disable AI from Settings → Team settings → Policy. Once enabled, everyone in the team can use AI features across Spaces and Zones.


Why doesn't my Space have AI options?

Ask your team admin to enable Vani AI from Settings → Team settings → Policy.
 If it’s already on, refresh your Space and try again.

How are AI credits counted?

Each generation — such as creating a flowchart or summarizing content — uses credits based on the size and complexity of the request.
  1. Free plan: One shared credit pool for the entire team.
  2. Team plan: Credits are allocated per member but pooled together, so any teammate can use from the combined total.
When credits run out, AI generation pauses until more are added.
Admins can contact support@vanihq.com to request additional credits.

Can one user use most of the credits?

Yes. Credits are pooled for the team, so any teammate can use from the shared total.

Can I edit AI-generated content?

Yes. Once added to your Space, AI-generated mind maps, flowcharts, or text can be edited, formatted, or rearranged like any other element.

How can I summarize only part of the Space?

Select the specific content you want summarized, then choose Summarize selected content in the Vani AI panel.

How can I summarize the whole Space?

Open the Vani AI panel, select Summarize entire Zone, and Vani will summarize everything visible in your Space.

What should I keep in mind while writing prompts?

For best results:
  1. Be clear about what you want to create.
  2. Add context, such as topic, tone, or structure.
  3. Use short, specific instructions for each request.

How does Vani AI handle data and privacy?

Generated content may be processed externally to generate results. Avoid entering sensitive or confidential information when using AI.
Admins control whether external sharing is allowed for Spaces in the entire team.
